X2: The Threat release date announced

EgoSoft has announced that X2: The Threat will be ready for release this September. The studio also said that it is negotiating with publishers on a territory by territory basis, and that exact dates will depend on the particular publishers.

X2: The Threat is the spacefaring sequel to X: Beyond the Frontier , which was released in 1999. The game features elements of exploration, trading, and combat. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
