Developer Mutable Realms has today announced a deal with Themis Group that will see the two companies working together to ensure that the massively multiplayer online RPG Wish emerges from its upcoming closed beta phase ready to scale up to open beta testing and a subsequent commercial launch. According to today's press release, a limited closed beta of the game will commence in November before expanding to include no less than 10,000 users early in 2004.

"Closed beta is a critical phase in the successful development an online game," said Marc Laukien, president of Mutable Realms. "With the Themis Group's experience on our side, we're confident our testing process will be both effective and successful."

Wish is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that will purportedly allow tens of thousands of players to exist simultaneously in the same gameworld.
