Well, maybe those ears aren't completely deaf. Sega today announced that it will indeed be bringing Ryo Hazuki back to the world of gaming, albeit in a rather unexpected way. Ryo will join the cast of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, the upcoming kart racing game for the Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo DS. While he will spend most of the time cruising around tracks on his motorcycle, a special move lets him jump into a forklift for a limited time.
Set for release in spring of 2010, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing will have online and offline multiplayer modes. Other Sega characters confirmed for the game include Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Dr. Eggman, AiAi, Amigo, and Sonic.
