PlanetSide is a massively multiplayer online shooter from Sony Online Entertainment. In the game, players will assume the role of a soldier in one of three different warring factions and use a variety of different weapons and vehicles in the struggle to control bases and territory on vast continents. Experience earned while playing the game can be used by players to activate new certifications, opening up more choices in weaponry and vehicles. Hundreds of players can fight over each base and region of the world simultaneously, with thousands populating the continents as a whole.
