Zuxxez releases Chicken Shoot demo
Zuxxez Entertainment releases a single-player demo of the PC version of its humorous chicken hunting game. First screens inside.
Germany-based Zuxxez Entertainment has today released a playable demo of Chicken Shoot, an amusing shooter in which players move a crosshair around the screen hunting for cartoon poultry. The 31.1MB demo released today features one of the six levels that will appear in the final game and sees players confronted by all manner of crazy chickens in the Nevada desert, some of which will sap players' energy by hurling eggs at them. The player is initially armed only with a pistol, which needs reloading after every five shots, but by shooting chickens that are carrying power-ups it's possible to rack up extra points to acquire machine guns and various other items.
According to the official Chicken Shoot Web site, the game is in development not only for the PC, but also for the Mac, Linux systems, Palm OS, and all current console platforms including the Game Boy Advance. No specific gameplay details have been released for versions other than the PC version at this time, but it's been confirmed that the PC version of the game will feature both classic and arcade modes and will support Internet gaming for up to four players simultaneously.
No release dates have been announced for any of the different versions of Chicken Shoot at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
