In the game u play as the God to a tribe called the patapons. You help them reach a place called Earthend were they want to find IT. to get there u must fight through different levels and many bossesm whilst doing this u get Kaching, materials and weapons so that u can upgrade your army and make it stronger for the harder levels.

Patapon isnt my usual type of game and i prefer higher action games however the rythmic style and beautiful graphics kept me hooked.
the graphics are very simple and cartoon like but work brilliantly! the gameplay, although it can get sometimes repetative is a lot of fun as well, with a bit of strategy as you need to know what different move you want your army to do whether u want them to retreat or attack or defend.
i was also very surprised when playing the game as i thought it would be a walk in the park, but the later levels can be very difficult and u really need to get the hang of holding the beat whilst calling the correct commands and also fielding the right combination of different units to fit the situation, so by no means was this game easy to complete.

i recommend it to all ages and it is brilliant to play on your PsP during long car journeys or something to do when your bored!!
