A well-crafted R.P.G. that REALLY challenges a Player to Use Their Brain! :D

User Rating: 10 | Paper Mario: Sticker Star 3DS

For a Video Game Player such as myself, it's NOT easy to find a game that REALLY challenges me to use my brain. Most recent games seem to cater to the shoot-them up genre (which, in my honest opinion) have about 10,000 games without ANY deviation to them WHATSOEVER, and they ALL play EXACTLY alike!!!! This game however, is a WELCOME breath of fresh air! :D It's not just an R.P.G. with Paper Mario in it, it is also an R.P.G. with puzzles and boss enemies that requires players to use MORE than just 10% of their brain! :!: The game REALLY thinks outside the box as far as creating challenging obstacles go, as the game makes really good use of the touch screen, and there are a LOT of places that will require Mario to do some unique R.P.G. solving skills in order to progress to the next area! Unlike previous "Paper Mario" installments, "Sticker Star" does NOT contain an experience point level up system, so collecting the right sticker items, knowing when to use them AND where to apply them in certain situations will REALLY make the difference between victory and defeat in this brain puzzling game! :) Kersti is a brand-new face in this brand new Mario game, and with her help, Mario can 'Paperize' certain suspicious areas in order to discover 'Scraps' that need to be 'Paperized' in a different section of a current stage, or even a different stage altogether! Kersti can also allow Mario to stick items in certain spots in order to get BETTER versions of the items he has placed, or gain access to extremely RARE and often VALUABLE items! 8) But the most valuable addition Kersti brings to Mario's battle skills is the battle spinner! With careful timing, Mario can match up three of the same item, and gain a unique bonus for matching all three of the same item, to! Mario will need his A game in order to beat two recurring Mini-Bosses, and six tough shiny bosses in order to save Princess Peach, the Mushroom Kingdom, and the entire day! My favorite level is the desert level, it's the shortest and it reminds me of the desert section in the original "Paper Mario." I really enjoyed being challenged by this "Paper Mario" game, and I highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a really challenging R.P.G. game as well! Enough said, true believers! ;)
