The game that started it all.

Pac-Man is to video games what Jordan is to basketball. Or grapes are to wine. "Back in my day" Pac-Man was king of the arcade. It wasn't just one game, it was THE game. It inspired a song ("Pac-Man Fever"), a cereal and multiple sequels (Ms. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, etc.) If you were considered a good video game player back in the 1980s, you were a Pac-Man expert just like you're a first person shooter expert these days.

Anyway, this version of Pac-Man is spot on. It's the original game with all the nuances such as those weird "plot" silent movies between some levels. While it doesn't have the variety of Ms. Pac-Man, it's still the classic. It's nice to see that they let you skip ahead to your most recently completed level -- who can survive through 21 levels with the original number of lives and extra earned.

The only disappointment here is the Xbox 360 controller. Having been used to using joysticks, I play with my right hand on the left thumbstick. Unfortunately, the Mad Catz arcade joystick doesn't work very well.
