Most underrated game I've played

User Rating: 9.3 | P.N. 03 GC
Ok, ok, I know that they say the shooting gets repetitive, and the levels seem to repeat, but from where I stand, P.N.03 is a whole lot more. New challenges and increasingly difficult enemies make the game a good run. The graphics seem to me among some of the best for the gamecube at the time, and the game play is totally innovative. I mean, come on! How many games have you shooting a beam out of your palm while shaking your butt and dodging missiles with matrix-like agility, all as a sexy cyborg bounty hunter. Sure, it seems like a basic idea, but this is the only game I've heard of that did a generally good job of pulling it off. If P.N.03 has any flaws, they are the fact that you can virtually only get points (for new suits and power ups) from doing the trial missions (which can get repetitive) the difficulty of pulling of the combos with the d-pad, and the fact that it is too short. Aside from that, It also has great replay value, with extra levels of difficulty, and various extras to unlock, such as hidden suits and alternate cut-scenes. The story was also basic, and wasn't too in depth, but did seem to set the game up for a sequel which would be ok by me. This game was an all-around dis-disappointment, an "appointment" if you will. Crappy jokes aside, I hope you take my advice and at least rent this awesome shooter
