A lot a Orcs were harmed during the making of the game
What's the game about? Well for the most part you set up a bunch of traps that will help you massacre a horde of orcs before they reach the "Rift". So its basically your typical tower defense game with a few minor twists namely its from a 3rd person perspective and its got a bit of humor in it.
Ups:
Lots of traps = Lots of ways to watch orcs die which is a good thing. Maps are often large and you can put most of your traps pretty much anywhere as long as there's a flat surface.
There are path markers that update themselves each time you place a trap so you get a general idea of where the orcs are going to go, which puts off the trouble of blindly putting traps in which you have no idea if their going to trigger it.
The music is very good, it really gets you into the mood of slaughtering a bunch of orcs.
And Lastly there's a certain degree of satisfaction to be had when your watching orcs walking into your cleverly placed traps and watching the comedy that unveils.
Downs:
Despite the variety of weapons or traps it gets really repetitive because well its a freaking tower defense game. I think Its best to take this in short doses rather than a full 3 or 4 hours straight Coz its going to get really old really fast otherwise.
The game is rather slow when it comes to showing off its good sides especially in the earlier levels as there's not much trap variety or trap combo going on aside from slow and shoot.
There's not much of a story going on, and by that I mean that you can go through 10 levels without having a clue why the hell this is all happening and why your doing all this for.
Why is there no freaking multiplayer? This could have been so much fun to play in co-op.
