Nothing revolutionary but still fun...
Graphics-10- for a game with fully rendered rotatable environments the graphics are top notch for ps2.
Sound-9-excellent music, good voicework, good combat sounds, cool monster growls.
Game play-8- puzzle elements are entertaining, combat is deep and responsive, environments are essentially large interconnected corridors, backtracking and fighting the same bosses many times is disappointing.
Value-8- This game is long for an Onimusha title but there's not much motivation to replay it due to sections of backtracking and repeat boss battles.
Tilt-8- controlling 2 characters at once is fun,excellent weapon variety, story is pretty lame, Onimusha4 Dawn of Dreams is the next logical step in the evolution of a solid action/adventure/rpg which has always had excellent production values.
