NOT a super smash bros rip off.

User Rating: 9.2 | Onimusha Blade Warriors PS2
We all know this looks similar to Super Smash Bros. But it's not. Even though Super Smash Bros is superior to Onimusha Blade Warriors, it isn't a bad game. It's pretty solid. They have your favorite Onimusha characters with two surprise guests. Megaman EXE and Megaman Zero. The game isn't similar in controls. It's up to jump, down to duck, and left and right to go left and right. You can also jump to the next level by using up up or down down or R1 and up or R1 and down. You only have a basic 4-hit combo but with a couple of tweaks you can get up to 5 or 6. Also with Zero, there's a hidden move that lets you have an infinite combo(find that out by yourself though) :). The orbs make up for the lack of combos. You get wind orbs, lightning orbs, and fire orbs. The wind orb creates a giant whirlwind that sucks up the opponent. The fire orb can hit multiple opponents at the same time unleashing up to 4 shots of fire from your sword, gun, spear, or any other weapon you might be using. The lightning orb(which is most powerful) unleashes a huge combo on the enemy that obliterates the opposing force. This usually only hits one person though. The game's story mode is quite lacking, often using the same scenes for almost every character. The BEST thing about this game is the multi-player. Up to four players can play at the same time, team or all for one. Definitely give this game a try if you have friends and nothing to do.
