AMAZING SEQUEL! a mesmerising return of a fantastic game.
After playing the first Obscure, I was very eager for the return.
And it did not disappoint.
After it was taken from the shelves as it contained themes of teen suicide and teen pregnancy I waited a long time to find it again. After once again SIRKARL1 managed to un-earth the game, we set about entering the world of OBSCURE once again!!
If I had any hopes for this game before I played it then they were about to be blown out of the monster infested water, BIG TIME!!! This game had improved in areas I didn't know it needed improving on, BUT, It was great, the characters were much more apparent due to lengthier cut scenes and more in-depth input into the different characters, also being set what characters you play as in the scenes as this allows for set deaths of characters and unfortunately allowing for the build up and in-depth cut scenes of these characters demise.
Also there are the usual weapons to find and many many more, plus much more tasks and challenges to complete. Also there are the same old villains but with new abilities?? (You know what I mean Karl!! Mandy's!!!!).
Once again a great storyline, GREAR CHARACTERS (but don't get attached to them, it will only end in tears!!), awesome action but most of all THIS IS THE BEST CO-OP ACTION GAME EVER on ps2!!
