Another Hard Core Game That Is Still A Challenge To Play Today!

User Rating: 10 | Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos NES

This Video Game, is living proof that a TRUE video game challenge can stand the test of time! Even after 21 years of graphic improvements, new video game systems, and many video game companies that have come and gone, this video game has endured! Continuing from where the original left off, this video game follows a new villain named Emperor Ashtar, who seeks to thrust open the gates of the Demon Realm, and by utilizing Ryu's girlfriend in his nefarious plot! Ryu will have to make it past eight levels (called Acts in this game), each filled with three stages! But due to the difficulty of this game, it will feel LONGER than it sounds! Thankfully, with the help of the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, the difficulty of this game can be toned down to a much more sane, manageable level of difficulty! By playing the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, you will PROBABLY be utilizing the Save Restore Point feature...a LOT! Your sanity will THANK you in the long run! In addition to the difficulty, this game features IMPRESSIVE cinematic cut scenes (especially by NES standards), good music/sound effects, solid controls, a great story line, and impressive NES graphics that even rival early Turbographx-16 and Sega Genesis level graphics! But even though Emperor Ashtar is the villain who kicks off the plot, he's NOT the final villain at the end of this game! But if you want to find out how the story goes, you'll have to play, beat, and enjoy the video game for yourself! I did, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an old school challenge from the NES! Enough said, true believers!
