Ninja Gaiden, well it finally came out after a very long wait. Was it worth the wait? Did it live up to everyone's expectations? Or did it do a uber flop like Blinx the Time Sweeper? The answer to those question’s is definitely, oh hell yea and it was not a uber flop. First I should start by saying this is the best looking game on any console, not just Xbox but all the other consoles. These graphics are just amazing, jaw’s will drop, people will stop and smell or rather look at the roses sort of speak. But none the less it is a great looking game. You wont find much of a plot in this game, it’s basically a revenge plot. A mysterious figure comes to town and steals a dark sword which holds great power. Ryu’s village is destroyed and all the villagers are killed. So the only thing let for him to do is kick the crap out of the men who did this to him. Many people thought the gameplay would be shallow just like Team Ninja’s DOA games. Those people were more than wrong. You can pull off many moves without trying to be too stressed out. With the gameplay comes the difficulty. This is not an easy game, it is one hard ass game. You could get your ass kick in the first level alone. When you know that happens you will be in for one hell of a ride. So if you are the sissy type of gamer who love’s his game’s as easy as R. Kelly’s date’s then you will be crying when you get sent to jail. Well you see what I mean. The sound in Ninja Gaiden is superb. The level’s all have a different distinct sound’s. Most are up tempo beat’s with the common use of old style Japanese music thrown into the mix. Everything sounds crisp from Ryu slashing his enemies in half to the Voice Acting. Though some people don’t like the English version of the voice acting I thought they did a good job. Overall I thought this game is one of thee best games ever made on any system. Even if you don’t own an Xbox you deserve to play this masterpiece called Ninja Gaiden.
