Near perfection

User Rating: 9 | Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3

I never played Ninja Gaiden before on Xbox but even on PS3 it's still a masterpiece in almost every way.

STORY

There is none other than one day you a peaceful Ninja Ryu Hiyabasa got his village attacked by the Black Spider Clan. You know what this means? Vengeance time!

So on the way you meet some rather shallow characters like a big tiddied woman who said she got cursed and several Dead or Alive characters like Ayane. Unraveling an attack and conspiracy.

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay of Ninja Gaiden stomps all the the other Hack and Slash degeneracy in the dust. You can do it all!

Wall Run, Jump climb, and more.

The controls are weighted so the movement has lots of gravity.

Ryu has many combos and attacks. As well as the many weapons he gets (which anything that isn't a dragon sword just plain sucks).

There is a ton of exploration and levels are designed well. Not too many puzzles to slow the pace.

Blast Ninpo at fauxs.

There are dozens of bosses and tons of challenges.

Then you get to Rachel she is the worst character she is powerful but slow and clumsy.

Rumors have it that the AI is not as on point as the original but really I may never know.

GRAPHICS

The graphics in Ninja Gaiden Sigma are improved from the original. They are more colorful and bright with little details and sharp textures.

This was a Xbox original game people. Let that sink in.

I love the art style and everything. Really what more can I say.

SOUND

The music for Ninja Gaiden fits the atmosphere as well as the moves Ryu himself are loud and powerful. Though repetitive it's still nice.

OVERALL

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a PS3 must have. Buy it what have you?
