If you like games that make your fingers hurt and getting your ass kicked thousands of times, then this is for you!

User Rating: 7.5 | Nightshade PS2
--PROS--
Very tight controls | Tons of large stages to explore | Decent graphics and soundtrack | Very challenging boss battles | Awesome "Tate" combos
--CONS--
The controls can sometimes hurt your fingers (Especialy while trying to do a Tate combo in mid-air) | Boss battles can be frustraiting most of the time

Here's another game which the main character is a woman (Okay! I play alot of games with women as the main character! I'm a lonely guy!) This game is a sequel to the infamous Shinobi game for the PS2, except instead of playing as a Shinobi you play as a Kunoichi (Female ninja) named Hibana, the story mode is pretty straight-forward, you play the stage, get to a boss battle, beat the boss, get your rank (I always get a C rank :P) and the prosses repeats over again. I haven't gotten that far into the game, right now I'm on stage 8 I think, but the storyline so far is alright. the games graphics are decent for it's time, but I think the music kinda sounds like something you'll hear from a year 2000 arcade machine, but don't get me wrong, I love the soundtrack! But the biggest problem I have with this game is the difficulty. I'm playing it on "Normal" and I end up getting my ass kicked right on Stage 1! Maybe because I'm not used to the funky controls, almost every time I play this I have to take a 5-minute break because my fingers really hurt! But that's not too important. I think the coolest thing about this game is that after you kill an enemy, a Time-Gauge will appear and if you kill at least 3 more enemies before the time runs out, you'll get to see Hibana strike a ninja-pose while the enemies die in the background! Freaking sweet!
