Brilliant graphics biased game! If you find it easy to score please tell.
This is an American hockey game where you have two teams a very small puck and a goal the exact same size as the goalie. I can score but dam is it hard! Scoring in this game makes me puke. Trying to pass around the mess of the flying super demons they call players. The ability to control the players can be tuff, moving around trying to get the puck back off a superior team in stats is even harder. In fact I feel the controls aren’t that great for an EA game.
Part of the problem with the game is the massive stats gap between teams. Of course America and Canada are the best teams and for some reason the United Kingdom is totally crap. Not only that, I couldn’t even figure out how to play with the US team. This is clear to me, the game is uneven and biased.
On the other side of the coin you have fairly good graphics. The players look pretty good, you can see the puck and when the players have a fight you can see a good bit of detail. Kits of the teams all look good and there is a good selection of teams to choose from. The arena and the crowd look good also.
I do like a bit of violence and this game has brutal written all over it. The fighting is the best part, the problem is, why do I always get beaten up by little Americans, surely the bigger Russians would win? I guess that is the stats gap again, mind you I do win the battles sometimes.
The last few bits, interface, music, yep all good. There is a certain EA polish but sadly the ice is making me cold I guess that means I need to get of my ass and try a different game!
