My brother and I played countless hours against one another on this game. The only rule was pick the two lousiest teams and let our own skills shine (no Gretzy's or Lemieux's allowed). 15 years later we still play it when we get together to decide who is the grand champion of all time (technically I think he has me on total victories by about half again as many as me). Years of high scoring games with tons of fights (and not all of the fights were in the games). This is the game that created a generation of NHL hockey fans. It is really too bad that real life NHL has never been this much fun. We rented it when it first came out and it was the very first game we bought after we got bored of the two really great games that came with the console, namely Sonic 1 and Joe Montana Sports talk 2 (Madden sucks!)
