wow, just wow. This will be the role model for future hockey games

This game deserves more than a 7.8, gamespot did not rate it fairly and the other people who gave it a bad review didn't either. this is the best hockey I've ever played, i mean it. Because of this game, I just can't find a better hockey game, I've tried them all, for years in search of a good hockey experience i've been let down many times until I found this game. Let's start with the good, the controls seem complicated but are really very easy to learn. pass, shoot, deke, and check. if you know these basic moves, you will find this a very easy game to play. the key to defense is to leave a defenseman back and when an opponent comes near, knock them down. what I like about the game is that it is more real than other hockey games. Also, the difficulty levels actually change when you want them to. For example if you choose pro and go to hall of famer level, you can feel it getting harder. if you go down to amateur level, it actually gets easier, unlike most other hockey games which do nothing when you change the difficulty level. to the game itself, you can play a quick game with a friend,( but it never seems to work with my other controller) you pick a team and start playing . You can play mini-rink mode on a mini-rink, elimination, shootout, tournament, party modes, and my favorite, franchise mode! For franchise mode, I turn off icing and offside, it just wastes time in my opinion. I play in pro level an I always win usually 7-0 or something like that. on the highest level, hall of famer, i usually win 2-1 or it ends tied or in a shootout. I always play as the vancouver canucks. and most importantly this game is fun, not frustrating. Like all games should be. There is no really bad about the game. well, that's really all that you need to know about playing modes.

Gameplay- amazing, realistic, revolutionary, something that the other hockey games don't have. I am SOLD on the gameplay-10

Graphics- very good, detailled, the producers put some effort into it.-9

Sound- the soundtrack is not as good as the gameplay, and not at all an important part of the game I like the 2k sports theme and about 2 other songs but the rock soundtrack is not my type of music, but it works on this game, not that i pay attention to it. the commentary is repetitive, but they tell it like it is, I will give this an- 8

Value- At it's most expensive right now is $20 but it sells for usually $ 15 and it's worth every cent. -10

Tilt- 10

This is unique hockey and very entertaining, even if you win all the time, you will still keep playing until the season is over. this is WAY better than EA sports hockey and EA just wishes they had made this game. FORGET EA
