Better described as good not great

Good:
- Intro of the legends looks fun. Hearing Greztky talk and playing as the legends is fun.
-UPDATED roster. It surprised me that they even had this past offseason moves.
- Be a pro legend count is fun. It seems to count a little more when you do really well
- Hitting is easy and the sin bin count for it is down. I can easily knock someone down, even as a rookie. Also, last year I barely made a guy move and I was called for it. This year I have hit guys no where near the puck, a CLEAR call, and nothing. A little bit more fun
- You can play as a girl... just nice to see.

Bad:
- Passing is hard. I look right at the man I want to pass to and it passes to someone behind me.
- Too much bench time. I like earning and moving up but half the time I have been playing I have been on the bench. I get a new shift and skate. The goalie freezes the buck and I'm on the bench again. Nice concept but WAY too much down time.
- The game feels too loosey. Last year my movement was solid and precise. This year I feel I'm way to over the place. I don't feel like I have 100% control of my guy.
- Rookies start in 60's. Yes that is more accurate but last year my guy started at 75... it took me all season to get him to 80. By then the new NHL is out and I put it on the shelf. Too low of stats for me.
- Replay overload. Every second is a replay. They cut out cutscenes of you celebrating on ice with your team to add more replays. The pause menu replay is nice, instead of HAVING to go through the long replay instructions. However, You get the pause replay, instant replay, in game replay, after whisle replay and after game replay. Yeah what I did was cool but do I need that many replays of it.

Overall: The NHL games have been good. After the intro of Be a Pro there is little to improve to make it a "oh my god" game. However, these little changes aren't doing it. It is hard to diss a game that you found good. Sports games are like that. Without horrible changes and a updated roster... not much to improve on a already improved game.
