Transformers: Fall of Cybertron drops August 28 in US

So when are activisone make some god games.

One shall stand, and one shall fall once again.

Pretty simple, no co-op, no buy.

No co-op through the main game no buy for me I hated the crappy tacted on Cod vs mode on the first game, you should just work on the co op campaign and escalation mode for the game. Shame I really liked the first one but again no co-op no buy

Oooooooh, no co-op? BAD, BAD, BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea guys, the honestly was one of the games strongest selling points for me and my friends along with the world. No offense, but your multiple player versus component were, well just bad. With the half billion other much better versus games out there that literally just crap all over yours no offense it was a nice distraction,but you should have removed those tack on crappy versus modes, and focused on buffing the single/co-op campaign and horde mode, also you should have added the customization and leveling to those mode the campaign and horde mode, that would have added TONS of replay value to them. We need less crappy tacked on versus modes and more kick ass campaign and co-op games. Sorry But I will be waiting for this to hit the bargain bi, I won't support developers who take the lazy way into making money.

I'm quite interested to see how they've handled Escalation mode this time around. Hopefully, they'll keep the "endless waves" set-up, because I for one had a lot of fun with that epic Alamo feel; trying to keep my mates alive while impossible odds were stacking up against us...granted, the waves got stale after wave 15 (but then again, High Moon probably wasn't expecting people to keep playing). Also, High Moon, if you're reading this; let us use our own Transformers in the new Escalation. That would end my social life.

Kinda pissed that there is no PC version this time around but oh well. War for Cybertron was one of the few transformers games actually done well, the last being the PS2 based on the Armada series.

BEAST WARS ROCKED! And If I'm not mistaken Beast War came way before than 3D gaming came on the Saturn, Ps, Real, 3DO.....@chilly-chill about the 5$ games I can buy them at the video club, in used video games stores, even at the pharmacy haha. But they are mostly crappy games!

Fall of Cybertron deserved better than a 6.5. Hopefully this will be fun, too.

I just want to point something really important...any transformer game that ends up on the market is a huge failure. I don't even understand why people buy video games that are based on tv shows/movies. Everytime aTransformer game is released it gets a score of 6/10....just look at G.I Joe, Fullmetal Alchemist, XMen...most of it ends up being junk ...the ones you see in the used games discount bin at the store with a price tag of 5$. Only a few actually succeed in re-creating the story and putting it in a video game : Batman, Spiderman. It's like having to choose between bubble gum or a hamburger for dinner. I'd rather buy another GOOD game without bugs, a crappy campaign, and very dumb AI. I, for one, value my time spent gaming, and Id rather do something else instead of playing a bad game. It's like reading a very bad book, or watching the whole season of a tv show you don't even like....I bet I'm going to get 13 thumbs down for this...=)

If they can fix the lag/hosting issues and still maintain the fun gameplay the first had, I'll be all over this one.

CO-OP was the best part of the original....I will still pick it up, but when it goes down to $19.99

Wish Grimlock looked more like his G1 self. I'm still getting this though. "I will rip open Ultra Magnus, and every other autobot, until the matrix has been destroyed!"

As excited as I am that they're releasing the game early, I'm hoping they aren't doing this to avoid clashing with Call of Duty and Resident Evil 6. Although, the move to an an earlier release date could mean that the game is finished...or that they're going to release whatever isn't finished as day 1 DLC. DON'T YOU DO IT ACTIVISION.

Man, I wish this was releasing this week. I have nothing but single-player games to play right now, and I am in need of a multiplayer. My buds and I played a ton of the horde/firefight/zombie endless wave style of game type. We need a new one. War for Cybertron's Escalation was a fun spin on that game type.

How are they not putting the co-op in this game....who thought that would be the good thing to do.....sigh

i loved playing war for cybertron on my ps3 cant wait to get this i hope they at least do G1 for their third game(then thats the end 3 great games thats all so things dont get repetitive)

Damn! Postponed.. Too bad... I was hoping it would drop early.... And no information about PC version? This game was best on PC...

The previous title was mediocre and the movie games were abysmal. This will probably make it on to the bottom of my "to rent" list.

Grimlok is ALMOST enough for me to consider buying it, but not after the 3rd degree burn the Devs did on the Last one on the PC side, pretty much abandoned and ditched with a horrid online play system. Of course I am one of those that bought the PC version so it may be wholly better on consoles,but a $30 burn on a game isn't much, however it didn't exactly improve chances for repeat business from alot of people, oh well though, good luck folks.

I will wait for more reviews.

First game was pretty cool; I love G1 Transformer goodness. Concerned about the co-op changes, but overall I'm ready to take another ride in this IP.
