Sony HK to host Singapore FIFA 12 tournament

Soccer title FIFA 12 received critical acclaim last September for including more defensive improvements and a new updated game engine, along with new online modes. Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong recently announced that it will be holding a FIFA 12 tournament in Singapore in late November and early December.

The preliminary tournament will be held on November 26 and 27, while the finals will take place on December 3 from 2:10 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. The former will be held at E2Max at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, while the latter will be held in SCAPE at Orchard Road. The winner will get tickets for the UPHORIA Party with Sony concert, which is held on December 3 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at SCAPE. The winner will also get a 160GB PlayStation 3.

Gamers who wish to participate can head to the registration website. On a related note, gamers can have a hands-on with Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Street Fighter x Tekken at the PlayStation booth in SCAPE from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on FIFA 12, check out GameSpot's review.
