Already purchased the 3 games just recently. If they don't add anything else to the collection than there's not much use to it. But great for people who haven't tried the series yet!
Three-game compilation of remastered PlayStation 2 titles updated with 3D support, PlayStation Move minigames, and trophies.
Last year, Sony brought the God of War Collection to retail, a bundle that included God of War and God of War II remastered with high-definition graphics and trophy support. This fall, Sony will again delve into its history, but this time, instead of reviving a muscled god slayer, it'll pull a raccoon out of its hat.
Sony today announced that The Sly Collection will come to retail bearing a $40 price tag with updated versions of the three original Sly Cooper titles: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.
Each PlayStation 2 title in the collection has been remastered with 720p visuals, 3D support, trophy incorporation, and a range of PlayStation Move-enabled minigames. Sony didn't announce anything further than the miniscule games' inclusion in the package and promised more details on the bite-sized motion-controlled games "soon."

Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter collections, please. However, I love Sly Cooper, so I'm highly considering this.
Its crap like this thats ruining gaming! its encouraging developers to create nothing but horrible rehashs! you guys all cry buckets when you hear about a NEW CoD or mario game yet you guys are more than happy to pay for the same games that you bought before.
This is great. I missed playing these games on the PS2 and they were given good reviews, so I am stoked.
Damn I really need to get a PS3. Sly was one of my favourite PS2 games ever! Although don't we think Sony should be offering these PS2 classics for free as an apology for not including backwards compatibility in their outrageously expensive console? lol I know I'm dreaming, but it's a nice thought...
Looking forward to this. Now just Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Kingdom Hearts games remastered please! :)
This is a GREAT deal...now only if they remake Jak and Dexter or Rachet and Clank....At least Jak2. That had to be my favorite one.
I always wanted a jak and daxter trilogy, and some ratchet and clank re-releases, those are some of my favorite games.
It's nice that those that haven't yet played these games get's a chance . And only 40$? , Sounds like a good deal :)
I've never played any of the sly cooper games even though my psn icon is sly. I think this is pretty cool. i would like to see more ps2 games re-released for the ps3 with some trophy support.
I was more into Jak at the time Sly was out but $40 for 3 games with HD graphics sounds like a deal to me.
the collection is cool but i would love a sly 4 game....i have all the originals but the collection with trophy support and even move support (F%#@K 3d) is hard to pass up....
This looks good, I only have the second and third Sly games but if this is not just downloadable(I'm using a crap connection) then I'll get this. And I also wonder if this is a test to see if gamers are still interested in Sly games, because if this sells well then after Infamous 2 is released they might make a fourth game =)
How unpopular is this franchise? I never even heard of it, and I'm sure most others on here have not as well.
Jak, Ratchet, Silent hill, Devil may Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy collections would be nice. And Dragon quest VIII remake
Onimusha Collection would be nice. Soul Reaver Collection would be great.Prince Of Persia Also Would Be Great
It's a shame NONE of any great platformer can ever beat Mario titles. I'm still waiting for the new Jak, with less driving.
@rockwii13 Because they're working on inFamous 2? Sucker Punch isn't big enough to be developing more than one game at a time. And I'm really looking forward to this. I was a broke teenager when Sly Cooper came out (And when Jak and Ratchet came out too) so I never bought any of these games. Sure, now I'm a broke adult but I'm sure I can free up the money somewhere. I just hope it doesn't take them as long to release this in Australia as it did with the God of War Collection or I'll have to import again.
Definitely gonna check this out. I missed out on Sly and Co over Ratchet and eventually Jak last gen, so this looks like a great opportunity to round out my playing of Sony's Big Three of Platforming.
I only played number one and liked it, and i will get a move controller for xmas i think, (have the eye and use it as my multiplayer microphone mostly), so that might be an added bonus if the mini games are any good?
I missed out the first time these three games were released, so I am looking forward to playing this collection on the PS3 with new features and remastered graphics, etc.
Great I never got these titles and I do not need to get them on PS2 or miss them all toghter. All those games I missed I was going to get some of them on the PS2, I can not wait to get them on PS3. -_ - _ - _ - _ - _ Also many people were younger and did not play these games. Now they have a chance, now they look a lot better and have other play choices. I am with many of you. I would pay for other HD remaks if there is more than 2 games on it. Also some games that came out for PSP (KH, MGS I am looking at you) can be put to gether with the PS2 games for a whole package on 1 Bluray.
I don't get it. Why not make a whole new game for the series? Most of us already have the games. It's silly to charge us for something we already have. It's not that old...
Possibly one of the best platforming alternatives to Nintendo's Mario and one the most underrated games in the history of good games. $40 for three awsome games? Instant Buy.
calm down. each of these games is worth like 5$ a piece. You could even get all 3 at gamespot for around 20$ with an edge card. but if this doesnt sell well, the cooper franchise may go the way of gex so i'm glad someones gonna drink this milk.
