Trial for Konami's upcoming action game coming to PSN and Xbox Live next week; will showcase game's first chapter.
A demo for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available to download on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network beginning January 22, Konami announced today.
The free demo will take place during the first chapter of Revengeance and will introduce players to the game's main character, Raiden.
Konami also announced the demo would hit European territories on January 23.

The demo is pretty fun..except the parry system...is barely works right.. if not for that problem, i really like the game
I can imagine this from Konami/Platinum Games right now:
"HUEHUEHUE. January 22... But I didn't specify WHAT time! 11:59 Hawaiian time it is!"
*sipping green tea with pinky out and nibbling on rice balls*
I just can't get over how dumb the name is. It's not revenge, it's not vengeance, it just had to be revengeance...
great i never got ZOE HD so now i will have a chance to play this and see what's it like before i decide to pre-order it or not
off topic enough with hate guys Kojima picked Platinum games to do this this game personaly as he and his team couldn't do it but he's still over seeing the game, his team has still done the story and design for Raiden and are still in overall control of the game
i for one think it looks good but i still want to try it first to see if it's worth getting day one
I'm one of those who own Zone of the Enders HD Xbox 360 version and I can tell you that it will be the same Demo and from my experence, it was fun, the Blade mode for cutting was well done, but the Demo was so short and the boss fight is just as if I was playing MGS. I'm glad he pick Platinum games for this and I like Platinum.
@KillzoneSnake You're confused. This is Metal Gear. It's not Metal Gear SOLID. There's a difference. Metal Gear is a universe of games. Metal Gear Solid is Snake's story
@KillzoneSnake Lol. Killzone 2 was a joke.
As a 33 year old gamer this just looks boring to me. I'm guessing that after 30 minutes the game is rinse and repeat until you clock it.
@ACWH as a 34 yr old player this is turning out to be one of the most anticepaded (pardon my english )game of 2013 to me..and i simply must say this...this IS a Metal Gear game..just not with snake..i mean how often is there a game that gives u the chance to chop guys like confeti..very awarding after a hard days work..but that's just me :)

"... But not the Wii U", give over people! No one is gonna stop, and delay a product whilst making even more comprises. It's silly to expect people to do so, and the Wii U only now has caught up to the capability of the 360 and PS3, so developers will have to find a way to develop on the system. A system that hasn't been received all that well.
And the Wii U is a MASSIVE gimmick. No one wants to rapidly swing their remote in the air, for the entire length of the game. It ruined Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, and it would ruin this.
@JustArtificial Sounds like you haven't even finished-let alone-played Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess.
Snake isn't going to be around forever and after seeing videos for this game I am warming up to Raiden a lot and the over-the-top action is similar to the original DMC so I am excited for this game and look forward to the demo.
Not sure if want to download it ... if it take place in the "Middle" of the first part of the game.... and not the opening
@DanteReal69 They're two completely different games. Shut the fuck up.
@DanteReal69 awwwww, you're upset that DmC wasn't made to please you.
