Bethesda Softworks has announced that Jeremy Soule will compose the soundtrack for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, its upcoming role-playing game. Soule recently completed the score for EA's upcoming adventure game Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone , and he has composed a number of soundtracks for other games, including Cavedog's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone , which won GameSpot's Best Music award in 1997, and Interplay's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone , which won GameSpot's Best Music award in 2000.

"It's an honor and an exciting challenge to score the music for this ambitious new role-playing game," said Soule. "The stunning epic quality of the Elder Scrolls series is particularly compatible with the grand, orchestral style of music I enjoy composing the most."

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is scheduled for release in spring 2002. For more information, take a look at our Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone of the game.
