Fight Night developers to make EA Sports UFC

Definitely looking forward to this one. 

I am a huge UFC fan and hopefully EA won't kill this franchise. I hated when they bought the NFL license rights because I though 2K Sports made way better football games. I hate Madden games and hopefully they do the UFC right. Got my fingers crossed!

"The developers of Fight Night will take off their boxing gloves and hop into the octagon as they have been tapped for EA Sports UFC development."

Good God!!! Isn't that a little extreme? Shouldn't they just sit down at their computers and develop the game instead of killing each other in the octagon?

Oh. Oh, wait. That was just Connor Sheridan being all clever and metaphorical, wasn't it?

Oh, I'm onto your game now, Sheridan. I must admit you had me going there a second, but I'll be keeping a close eye on you from now on. You won't fool me again, Mister. No way, no how.

EA MMA was terrible and THQ is stupid for overpaying for the UFC license. If EA cared about quality over milking something for what its worth they would have two separate teams. This way each team would get to work on Fight Night and the UFC game for two years instead one team will be working on the UFC game and then switch to Fight Night when its done. EA I hate you and you suck!. Where getting screwed so bad just shoot me and make every singe game be made by EA.

Not that I'm a big fan of UFC/ MMA or anything, but here goes another great franchise ruined and drove right into the flaming pits of hell by Electronic Arts aka Beezlebub's Company.

Focus on Fight Night Champion Round 2 our whatever the hell it'll be called instead please.

How far away is MontREAL? If they ever need some quality assurance people to help out with the game, a few THQ people will be nearby....

BTW, not a knock on the THQ guys, but it would suck to be right down the road from the guys that got the rights to a game you used to work on.

How the hell do you not give this to the guys who did EA MMA? That was a system that WORKED and just need more improvment. Fight Night has been so half hearted lately.... this is really disappointing. EA sounds like they are effing up YET again.

Damn, that's dissapointing. EA is fucking evil and I won't give them money, shame cause I love UFC. Undisuputed games are as good as MMA in games gets. Loved fight night up to 4, they ruined it with that and it only got worse. No hope for it to be a good game AND it's from EA? Hahaha, yeah, hopefully they lose money on it. Sorry UFC, EA is fucking evil and actively trying to kill video games.

Fight Night is a great franchise.  I'm not a big fan of MMA or fighting in general, but if the game's good I'll play it.  I'd like to see a new developer tackle WWE games; THQ's games should be better than they are.

I think UFC was better off at THQ.....

those games were very fast paced, all of the Fight Night games and MMA was too slow....then again I've only rented these games in the past....
