Call of Duty: Black Ops II hitting Wii U?

Treyarch QA tester's resume includes mention of unannounced shooter for Nintendo's new console.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is gunning for the Wii U, according to the LinkedIn resume of a Treyarch quality assurance tester. This person's profile indicated he performed various forms of testing on an unannounced Wii U version of this November's Call of Duty.
As of press time, neither Nintendo nor Activision had responded to GameSpot's requests for comment.
If Call of Duty: Black Ops II does arrive on the Wii U, it will represent a continuation of Activision's eagerness to ship Call of Duty games for Nintendo hardware. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty 3 all came to the Wii.
Additionally, Nintendo of America vice president of sales and marketing Scott Moffitt said in June that the Wii U could become the preferred way to play core games, like Call of Duty.
"You can imagine how a game like Call of Duty would work on the Wii U--the GamePad will allow you to declutter the TV and pull gaming items like maps down and not interrupt your interaction and enjoy the cinematic quality of the game on the TV," he said at the time. "That's one application that could be exciting and could enhance gameplay for a core gamer."
The Wii U will ship worldwide this holiday season.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is due out on November 13 and is a sequel to 2010's original Black Ops, which is the best-selling series entry to date, moving more than 25 million copies as of August 2011. For more on the upcoming game, check out GameSpot's latest preview.

LONG LIVE PLAY, JUMP IN, NINTENDO (correct me if im wrong, but i don't recall nintendo having any catch phrases for their brand..anyways..if you're a true gamer and not a gaming racist, this is good news for nintendo..these are the people who would make negative comments in this article: KIDS, people that don't have extra expenses for another console if they have 360 or ps3 already, or people that ACTUALLY BELIEVE their negative comments actually carry weight and help drive sales lower, but in fact they just showing how retarded they are hahah

Back then when Nintendo always had the most powerful console, haha but yeah, even though I don't care for CoD (local mulitplayer is lots of fun, but online play does nothing for me, I want to see the face the person I own, or get owned by XD) if it helps boost Wii U sales, I have no problems :P
of course they are going to nintendo now. They're losing buyers every year these days, so now they go to a "last ditch" effort to try and recover their losses. I saw this coming.

@SirNormanislost First off no one uses the actual name of a soldier in war unless its a documentary. Secondly i wasn't referring to WaW at all seeing as how treyarch has never done anything historical in their versions. nt though.

erm are you trying to tell me that the story from WaW was completely 100% accurate from the perspective of a soldier that served in the war of the same name? or is it far more likely they made it up around real events? what im getting at here is they can chnage history in the game if they want to anyone can, go watch inglorious bastards
@NachoNutria Yeah i know what you mean, I played CoD from their first release to CoD4 but after that it was over for me. However, there isn't much they can do with WWII anymore. They can't make up their own stuff since its historic, what they should have done is instead of melding every country ie. brit, german, russian, american all into the games at the same time, they should have broken it up. Eventually if CoD stays around long enough they will have to go futuristic (obviously lol). Personally I like the ARMA series and Red orchestra 2 for my WWII action. =)

I love COD games from Treyarch, but yeah, I can't help but feel how repetitive COD and all the other FPS games are getting. (specially Copy&Paste Warfare)... Too much guns lately... They could even return to World War II and would be a greater change that all they have benn doing lately
It won't bring current COD gamers from PC/PS360 unless it offers something substantially unique, but it may be nice for the Nintendo faithful.
My big concern with buying multiplats on the Wii U is Nintendo's Online setup.
My Wii U is for 1st Party and 3rd Party exclusives until I can test out what is going on with Nintendo. An online popular game like COD is make or break without decent online. Even if the online is exactly the same, that won't pull gamers from another machine, so Nintendo should be shooting for the stars with their MP setup.

6 Like Call of duty Black ops 2 on the Wii U could help the launch of the "sixth Nintendo" But most people already have Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. So that second screen of the Wii U Gamepad has to factor in to set apart from the other versions. The Core and HardCore gamers that Nintendo hopes to recapture, Need a reason to buy into the new control concept.
1 Like @Megavideogamer The sad part is us gamers could probably think of a million great ideas for the second screen. Such as a mini map, that you can draw on to notify team mates of the location of the enemy, where they are headed, etc. location of snipers, claymores and other things you could think of. Or for controlling things like the little tank, while you see yourself on the main screen so you can be aware of your surroundings while controlling it. *got the idea from the baterrang off the batman E3 video*, sniper aiming... could make class selection/customization easier. and I'm sure you could think of some cool things too.
But instead I bet they just stick a non-interactive mini map on the thing and say "Look at what we did!"
and if they do itll be the worst possible idea..... ive played COD and the last thing i want to be doing is taking my eyes off the screen to look at my hands when i could just glance at the corner of the screen and still see whats going on

The only reason I can imagine why Nintendo and Activision are holding this news is that they want to disclose Wii U price and launch date with a bang by showing a second bunch of Wii U games.

That screen shot looks like it belongs in MW3...please o please be better than the GARBAGE that is MW3. I wouldnt pay 10 for MW3. I'm friggin pissed I bought it on day 1.

The only things they could do for the tablet controller is when you use the satellite to shoot missiles and maybe when using the remote controlled car, aside from that, I don't think a big tablet could be easier to play than a standard controller, but will see

1 Like @alvarokike But it's a tablet with all input mechanisms of a standard controller, plus a touchscreen. It can't be worse since at it's lowest point, they're equal. I can't see how it could be anything but better on the WiiU controller.
Plus people are always saying how they don't want to tear their eyes away from the screen but the thing is I own a 3DS and for most the games that utilize the 2nd screen (DS games also), after a short time getting used to the 2nd screen, I can fully utilize it without really having to look down, the same thing is likely with the GamePad, especially if the weapons are mapped out on the 2nd screen so you'll eventually memorize where to press for a specific weapon.
@Senor_Kami indeed, but as I said before, we'll see (i'm actually quite optimistic for this one :)

Not Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but who cares except the Call of Duty fan girls and boys, since it is the exact same Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare every year.
