Cartoon Network Show getting DS game later this year from the studio behind Silent Hill: Book of Memories and Aliens: Infestation.
Adventure Time with Finn and Jake is leaping from the television screen and onto the DS, according to series creator Pendleton Ward.
Through a series of tweeted doodles, Ward revealed last night that he would be working "so closely" with WayForward Technologies to develop a DS game based on the Cartoon Network show. Details are thin on the project, but Ward said the game will ship in 2012.
Adventure Time for the DS will not be the first game based on the TV show. A series of Flash games are available through Cartoon Network's website.
WayForward is currently at work on Silent Hill: Book of Memories for the PlayStation Vita. The company's previous work includes Aliens: Infestation, A Boy and His Blob, and BloodRayne: Betrayal.

Why people enjoy this show is unknown to me. Same thing with that "Regular Show". It's just not funny. At all. I have seen some episodes thinking that they may change my mind but I still despise it. All I can say is that it doesn't deserve an Emmy Award or a real game. Sorry, Ward.
Wow a lot of people seem to really like this show. Having not seen it or any cartoons for a long time really makes me feel old lol
Unfortunately, most Cartoon Network games are licensed shovelware. Please, please get this into the hands of a developer that loves the show.
AWWWWW YEAH! If any cartoon deserves to be made into a game its this one. Crossing my fingers so it can be a good one.
The news that WayForward is developing this has me pretty excited. Will check this game out when it releases.
I Like WayForward, but I'd rather they spend their time on original IPs instead of licensed crap.
I hope this doesn't turn out to be licensed shovelware. But I think Adventure Time can really lend itself well to video games. Also, since the creator himself is working on it with Wayforward (which made the Mighty series along with Shantae on the eshop), I'm really looking forward to this.
I really hope Pen's involvement will keep this from being a crappy Cartoon Network cash-in game. Adventure Time deserves a lot better than that.
