Rocksmith: All-New 2014 Edition announced
Introduced by Alice in Chains lead guitarist Jerry Cantrell.
Ubisoft has unveiled a new Rocksmith title as part of its E3 2013 press conference.
The Rocksmith: All-New 2014 Edition, which uses a real-life guitar and is designed to teach people how to play the instrument, was introduced by Alice in Chains lead guitarist Jerry Cantrell.
Cantrell used voice commands to access the game's new Session mode, which conjures up a virtual band to perform alongside the player's guitar, and confirmed Alice in Chains would feature on the game's soundtrack.
The Rocksmith: All-New 2014 Edition is due for release in October. No specific platforms were mentioned.
The last Rocksmith was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2011. An expansion which added bass guitar was released in 2012.
