PlayStation 4 listed for A$899 at EB Games Australia
PlayStation 4 console listed at Australian retailer EB Games for preorder at A$899; final price yet to be announced.
Just a few hours ago, Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4 console at a live event in New York. While Sony has yet to announce an official price for the console, Australian retailer EB games has listed the PS4 on its website, available for preorder at a placeholder price of A$899.
EB Games has made clear that the amount is a placeholder, with the preorder page stating: "final price yet to be announced."
The listing page also includes an array of launch titles announced at the PlayStation event for the PS4, including Watch Dogs, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Drive Club, and Infamous: Second Son. At the time of writing, all games are listed at a preorder price of A$118.
This would not be the first time the retailer has estimated the launch RRP of a Sony console, with the PS Vita receiving similar treatment prior to its launch.
Sony announced the PlayStation 4 during a live broadcast today. The console is expected to be released during the 2013 holiday season.
