Apple reveals $800 128GB iPad
New fourth-generation model with Retina Display launching February 5; cellular version to be available for $930.
Apple is doubling the storage capacity for its latest iPad line. The company today announced new 128GB versions of the fourth-generation iPad, which will begin at $800 for a Wi-Fi-only model, with a cellular model available for $930. Both new iPads go on sale February 5.
The 128GB iPad line includes all the same features as the existing fourth-generation models, including a 9.7-inch Retina Display, a FaceTime HD camera, and an A6X processor.
They will be sold through Apple's online store, at Apple retail stores, and through select Apple authorized resellers.
iPads were hot commodities during Apple's recent latest quarter, as consumers purchased a record 22.9 million iPads for the three-month period ended December 29.
