Diablo III is Australia's best-selling title of 2012 to date, according to NPD Group Australia.

Blizzard's RPG beat out titles including Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, and Mass Effect 3, to be the number one title sold through physical retail channels across all platforms for the period between January to September 2012.

In New Zealand, Modern Warfare 3 took out the top spot for the same period, with Battlefield 3 and Skyrim rounding out the top three.
