Namco Bandai recently announced that there will be yet another Gundam strategy RPG on its way to the PSP. According to a recent copy of Famitsu (via Sinobu), the latest title is called SD Gundam G Generation Overworld.

A piece of the action from the 3DS version released last year.

The new title will consist of new Gundam mechs from different stories and canon, such as Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny and Gundam: Battlefield Record U.C. 0081. The game will feature two different scenarios for its story mode: a World Tour mode, where players live out scenarios from various Gundam universes, and a World Core mode, where players relive the events of the G Generation system scenario.

A new feature in this turn-based strategy RPG is the master skills system, where players gain access to leader unit skills that can turn the tide of battle quickly. Examples of these skills include the ability to evade attacks with a 100 percent success rate for a single turn, and the ability to raise up a unit's attack strength drastically until the end of a battle.

SD Gundam G Generation Overworld will be out in Japan on September 27. An English version of the game has yet to be announced.
