The Kuju Entertainment-established game developer Doublesix has made a name for itself by having its game Geometry Wars: Galaxies nominated for best handheld game at the 2009 BAFTA awards show and making Burn Zombie Burn!. The developer recently announced its new title, Strike Suit Zero, which is slated for a first quarter 2012 release.

The game is billed as an arcade space combat game, which features transforming spacecrafts known as "strike suits." Junji Okubo, known for working on Steel Battalion and Infinite Space, will be serving as the title's mechanical designer, and Paul Ruskay, famous for working on Homeworld's soundtrack, will be doing the music.

The action game will be released for Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network and PC, and it will be shown off at this year's GamesCom. Stay tuned to GameSpot for more information on the title.
