AU Shippin' Out July 4-8: UFC Personal Trainer
THQ's UFC-branded fitness game makes its way over to Sony's black box.
Following on from the release of UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System on the Xbox 360, THQ is now ready to send the PlayStation 3 version into the retail octagon. To compensate for the PlayStation Eye's lack of full-body tracking, THQ is packing in a leg strap that players will place on their PS Move controller for the game to track. Like the Xbox 360 version of UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System, there are 70-plus exercises on the disc for players to break a sweat over, ranging from your basic push-ups to more advanced mixed-martial arts moves.
UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System for the PlayStation 3 may be the only game out this week, but that doesn't make July a complete write-off. Next week sees movie tie-ins Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, and Captain America: Super Soldier hit store shelves, while Call of Juarez: The Cartel will be released the following week.
