Back in May, Namco Bandai Games revealed a Japanese WiiWare title called Muscle March. The trailer for the game (included below) raised questions as to whether the bizarre muscle-posing downloadable action game would ever see the light of day internationally. Those questions have been answered, as Namco Bandai today confirmed that the game will arrive on the US Wii Shop Channel this coming winter.

Muscle March lets players select from a roster of muscle-bound meatheads (including a polar bear) and control them as they chase down a thief in possession of their prized protein supplements. The thief will not be caught easily, however, breaking through walls as he strikes one of four dramatic weight-lifting poses. Players will have to match the poses with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk if they want to follow cleanly through the walls and catch up to the protein-pilfering perpetrator.

Muscle March will also include a multiplayer mode for up to four, where gamers follow one another through a series of walls at ever-increasing speeds. For more on the game, visit the official (and equally unusual) Japanese Web site.
