More Dragon Age DLC takes wing this holiday
BioWare's next add-on for dark-fantasy RPG, Return to Ostagar, heads to 360, PS3, PC later this year for $5.
BioWare didn't wait long before augmenting Dragon Age: Origins with downloadable content; it didn't wait at all, in fact. When Dragon Age shipped for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 3, players who picked up new copies of the dark fantasy role-playing game were given free access to The Stone Prisoner (a $15 add-on, otherwise). EA also offered the Warden's Keep expansion for $7 (MSP560) on day one.
Following through with its promise to continue supplying Dragon Age with new DLC over the next 12 months, BioWare announced today the latest add-on pack, Return to Ostagar. The add-on pack will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC sometime this holiday season for $4.99 (MSP400).
SPOILER ALERT
As its name may imply, the Return to Ostagar pack revisits an early-game scene in which the infernal darkspawn overrun King Cailan and his Grey Warden entourage, after the Fereldan monarch is betrayed by his advisor, Loghain. In the add-on pack, gamers will quest for Cailan's armor and weapons, as well as get more insight into his political agenda and secrets.
