Aussie game charts: July 27-August 2

Wii Sports Resort makes it two weeks in a row at the top of the charts.

Wii Sports Resort has spent its second week at the top of the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia. WSR is Nintendo's first game to be bundled alongside the new Wii MotionPlus accessory and adds greater motion control when playing. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis are also included with the new hardware in the box.

Out with the old and in with the new. Yesterday's favourite game Wii Fit managed to snag the second position on the overall game charts for the week of July 27-August 2. The company had a stellar week, with eight of the top 10 games coming from the Nintendo stables. The two non-house of Mario games were The Sims 3 for the PC in the eighth spot, and the Wii version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which made it into the ninth place.
