Aussie game charts: June 29-July 5

Wii Fit continues to reign supreme down under.

Nintendo's cash cow Wii Fit has again claimed the top spot down under, according to data trackers GfK Australia. The last game to knock it from the top, The Sims 3, has fallen significantly, sliding down to seventh place.

As usual, Wii Play isn't too far behind Wii Fit in the second place, for the week of June 29-July 5. The third spot goes to Mario Kart Wii, from Nintendo. Newcomer Fight Night Round 4 fared pretty well during its first week of sales, with the PlayStation 3 version breaking into number four. Pokemon Platinum remained in fifth place for the second week in a row. Mario Kart again makes it into the overall top 10; this time it does so for the Nintendo DS, landing in at number six. The Xbox 360 of Fight Night Round 4 didn't do quite as well as its PS3 cousin, only making it into the eighth spot. Virtua Tennis 2009 took out the ninth place, just above Rhythm Heaven in the 10th spot.
