Aussie game charts: June 22-28
Wii Fit returns to the top spot in the Aussie charts after a three-week break.
The Sims 3 had a strong first three weeks of sales, but it looks like it has finally fallen to Wii Fit. Nintendo's popular fitness game has returned to the top of the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.
The Sims 3 still managed to do well, claiming second place for the week of June 22-28. The Wii Play bundle knocked down Infamous and stole the third spot, while Sony's open-world action game settled just below it at number four. Both Pokemon Platinum and Mario Kart Wii moved up several places, taking out the fifth and sixth spots, respectively. Sony's ghost traps snagged enough people during the first week of sales of Ghostbusters: The Video Game to earn it the seventh place. Despite a brief comeback in the last batch of charts, EA Sports Active suffered a big blow last week, falling down to eighth place. The Xbox 360 version of Prototype managed to claim the ninth spot, while the PlayStation 3 version narrowly made it in at number 10.
