Sony is ready to leave to the UMD behind on October 1 with the disc-less PSP Go system, and it looks like the electronics giant isn't the only one. NIS America today announced that its strategy import Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? will be skipping brick-and-mortar stores in the US in favor of a downloadable-only release on the PlayStation Network.

A title like that deserves a nice title screen.

"The decision for going all-digital has come after surprisingly strong support for the digital demo from gamers nationwide," NIS said. "With its fun, absorbing content and relatively small size, Badman is an ideal candidate for PSN."

An NIS representative said that the switch to digital distribution will allow the publisher to release the game July 16 at the budget price point of $19.99. The aforementioned demo for Badman launched on the PSN May 28.

This is by no means the only download-exclusive PSP title. Sony launched Patapon 2 on the service in May for $19.99 and previously has launched games like flOw, Everyday Shooter, and Echochrome as downloadable-only titles. In April, Capcom announced that it would be releasing a downloadable exclusive of its own this summer with the 2D fighting game Fate/Unlimited Codes.
