TOKYO--Capcom always has a strong showing at the Tokyo Game Show, and 2008 was no exception. Occupying roughly the same space (and size) as their booth last year, Capcom's show presence in 2008 was dominated by Resident Evil 5, known as Biohazard 5 in Japan. The space for the game took up almost a quarter of the company's overall area, with eager showgoers being ushered behind high walls to have their look at the upcoming zombie action game.

Fighters also had a sizable presence at Capcom's booth, with both Street Fighter IV for consoles and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes for the Wii being present and playable. Capcom even had some Chun Li, Sakura, and C Viper look-alikes prowling the booth, with plenty of people taking the opportunity to snap pictures of these real-life Street Fighter characters.

Other games on show included the upcoming Phoenix Wright spin-off featuring Miles Edgeworth for the DS. Titled Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor, the game takes the action out of the courtroom with a bigger focus on investigation. Finally, Basara Battle Heroes and Dead Rising for the Wii were also playable.

Another crowd favourite was Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
