Aussie game charts: August 25-31

Wii Fit's domination of the Australian game charts continues with it again this week taking the top spot according to data trackers GfK Australia.

The silver medal for the week of August 25-31 goes to the Wii Play and Wiimote bundle. Lately, when we've seen Mario Kart in the top three games overall, it has been the Wii version, but not so this week. Mario Kart DS has instead busted into the charts in third spot, with Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? sitting right below it at number four. The fifth place position goes to last week's number one, Mario Kart Wii. Highly anticipated but unfavourably reviewed game Too Human only managed to take out the sixth spot during its first week on sale. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 for the Wii has returned to the charts this week at number seven. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has taken a significant drop since last week, falling four places down to eighth overall. The latest expansion pack for The Sims 2, The Sims 2: Apartment Life, debuted at number nine, with More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? taking out the 10th and final position in the overall Australian game charts.
