Aussie game charts: April 7-13

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue maintains its lead in the Australian market.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the PS3 has spent its third consecutive week in a row at the top of the Australian overall game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

Number two for the week of April 7-13 was Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for the PlayStation 2. The Simpsons Game for the Nintendo DS came in at number three, while the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games duo on the Wii and DS are in fourth and fifth, respectively. Ubisoft's baby simulator, Imagine Babyz, found itself in the lower half of the top 10, in sixth place. The recently released PS2 port of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters can be found in eighth spot. Last week's nine and 10--Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the PS3 and Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes on DS--remained in the exact same positions this week as they were last week.

In other charts news, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has maintained a respectable position in the Xbox 360 chart, while completely falling out of the PS3 top 10.
