Aussie game charts: Mar 31-Apr 6

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue continues to sell strongly down under, spending its second week at the top of the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

The week of March 31-April 6 saw 8 of the possible 10 games in the overall chart belong to a Nintendo console, with the remaining two both PlayStation 3 games. (It should be noted that GT5 Prologue's sales are only figures for software, which does not include the GT5 Prologue PlayStation 3 bundle.) Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? remains in second place, whereas its successor, More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?, has reentered the overall charts at number three. Transformers: Decepticons for the Nintendo DS sits in the fifth spot. The Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games duo for the Nintendo Wii and DS has taken out the sixth and seventh spots, respectively. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the PlayStation 3 fell four spots to number nine. Last but not least, Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes on the DS finished up the week in 10th.

Despite falling out of the overall charts, God of War: Chains of Olympus continues its reign over the PSP chart, claiming the top-dog position for the second week in a row now.
