Earlier this month Electronic Arts' chief financial officer Warren Jenson resigned after a six-year tenure counting the company's shedloads of cash.

EA didn't announce Jenson's future plans or reasons for leaving the company, but did say the executive would be sticking around to help ease the transition to the company's new CFO.

Now that new CFO has a name: Eric Brown. Brown will start in his new role as EA CFO and executive vice president on April 14. Brown is jumping ship from McAfee, where he was also working as CFO, along with being chief operating officer.

He's no stranger to EA, having worked for the company previously as COO of its Redwood Studios, and has also been president and CFO of MicroStrategy.
