At the end of November, THQ's chief financial officer Edward Zinser announced his resignation from the company following a "mutual agreement." In the company's previous set of financials, THQ reported a net loss of $7 million on revenues of $229.3 million, down from $11.6 million net profit and $240.2 million in revenue for the same period in 2006.

However, the company denied that the executive's departure had anything to do with the latest figures, saying it "is in no way related to the financial condition, results of operations, or future prospects of THQ."

Vice president Rasmus van der Colff stepped into the former CFO's shoes as a temporary measure while a replacement was found. Now, Colin Slade has been announced as the company's new CFO, as well as executive vice president, beginning February 29. Slade was previously executive vice president and CFO of Tektronix, a test and measurement equipment company.
