Second Euro offshoot of the Game Developer's Conference is locked down for June 23 and 24.

The second European Game Developer's Conference will be held in Paris and has been dated for the end of June 2008. The first event, GDC Lyon, was held in December 2007, and featured a keynote from Cevat Yerli, Crytek's CEO, who used the platform to discuss sci-fi first-person shooter Crysis.

In a similar style to the US event (to be held this year between February 18 and 22 in San Francisco), GDC Paris has five main "tracks" into which it organises its events. These are: Programming/Coding, Game Design, Graphical Arts, Production/Project Management, and Business/Management. The show's focus will be on the content of the current generation of consoles and PCs, and multiplatform development.

The official Web site for GDC Paris '08 has a call for papers for the conference. Experienced developers and others are invited to submit their ideas to the GDC's Advisory Board.

GDS Paris '08 will be taking place over two days, June 23 and 24, and is being organised by Connection Events in conjunction with CMP Technology.
