Nintendo lays out Q1, Q2 slate
Publisher's latest release schedule for includes Ninja Gaiden DS and Okami Wii for March 25, Wii Fit in Q2.
Earlier this week, Nintendo worked many of its most faithful into a fit--for a second time--with news that the critically acclaimed Wii fighter Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed to March 9, as opposed to its previously revised February 10 date. However, that revision hasn't stopped the Masters of Mario from laying out their lineup on the Wii and DS for the first half of 2008.
Wii Fit, which was released on December 1 in Japan and has thus far held a nebulous 2008 release date in North America, will now arrive sometime in Q2. March 25 will carry special import for Nintendo gamers, as both Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Ready at Dawn's Wii port of Okami are expected to hit retail.
Nintendo's lineup, listed in full below, carries several other new release dates, including confirmation of Myst for the DS arriving in March, Aksys Games' Castle of Shikigami III for the Wii arriving April 15, Atlus' Baroque on the Wii for February 26, and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles for February.
